The system of care operates in my household by just me pretty much doing everything. I've never been married and I don't have kids so, I cook, clean, and manage most things myself. But when I was growing up the decision-making process that determined the division of labor in my dads house was, before he went to work, he would leave me and my sister a note of chores to be done around the house. Over the course of my life, I remember the system of care changed in my household after my parents divorced. My sister and I moved in with my dad full time, and since I was the oldest I took care of the house while my dad was at work. At that time I also had to care for my sister, I used to help her with her homework or pick her up from the bus stop in the afternoons.

In my family our system of care consist of my father who is the bread winner or provider. As for mother, she is the one who takes care of all the house work along with caring for the children making sure the school work and hobbies are done. The decision making process is mainly my father what us children shall do for certain things, although ultimately what my mom say usually goes. Over the course of my life, the system of care changed drastically in my family, due to the fact our mother has passed so now its my father who does the providing along with not being a "mother" also and taking care of the duties she had. That was the main factor that influenced the change in my family's household.
