1. There were many job attitudes described in chapter 3 and the PPT slides. The denition of some of those attitudes may "overlap" with one another. Note that one attitude - job satisfaction - was described as a sum of many facets. (a) Describe how work attitudes are similar and different from one another (describe at least 3 work attitudes), and (b) discuss whether the facets of j ob satisfaction are indeed different or a single thing. Include your own experience in your answer (Hint: you could describe the two most important facets contributing to your own "overal "job satisfaction). Work attitudes are in a way similar to one in another because they all contribute to the way we are and the way our attitude will be in the organization that we work at. Job Involvement is very important in a job. This is an attitude that we all want to experience in an organization. If we do not feel like we are needed there our selfesteem will go down. At my organization, we have weekly meetings that involve all of the employees and we discuss everything that is happening in every department which is great because it makes everyone reeled involved. Not only that but the training that is given is given to everyone not just to a specic group of people. There are resource groups that help everyone feel involved. In those groups, we get to interact with people from all different departments which makes everyone feel like they are part of the organization. ORGANIZATIONAL COMMITMENT is also very important. I feel committed to my job. That is also since the rest of the attitudes are contributing to this attitude in specic. Since I am feeling psychologically empowerment I feel committed to the organization. If someone is not experiencing the rest of the attitudes it would be hard for them to feel committed to the organization. I feel that not only I am psychologically empowered but also involved in my job. There are many resource groups in the organization that is there to help the employees feel involved. This is great because it makes us feel like we do not have to go anywhere since we are getting what we need at the organization. PSYCHOLOGICAL EMPOWERMENT is very important in an organization we all want to feel like we are wanted there. At my job, we are psychologically empowered since my supervisor is always making sure that we are recognized when we do something right even if it is something that might seem small to others. This makes me as an employee feel like I am appreciated at the organization and it also makes me feel like I am contributing to the organization. Which is great because I do not feel the need to leave the current organization that I work for. Like I mentioned these work together. They each contlibute to one another and if one attitude is not positive chances are very high that the other attitudes will be affected by that
