1. Under the Search command, type in you home address (5880 bernal dr 1020, dallas tx 75212) to locate your home. click on the small magnifying glass icon to go to that address (or hit the Enter key). Once the search has located the spot, not that you can change the altitude you are viewing an object from the sliding zoom scale on the upper right side of the screen. Also, if you left-click on the mouse and hold it down, you can move the mouse in order to move across the landscape. Clicking and holding down the right side of the mouse allows you to rate the image. 2. After you have found your home, back out to a higher altitude. In the lower right corner of the screen, the Eye alt indicator shows how high above the surface your view is located. Find a familiar feature that is within walking or a short driving distance from your home. Looking at the roads, follow the path from your home to that site. 3. Enter "New York, NY" (with or without the quotes--either one works) in the FLY to box under Search. Zoom in on the southern end of Manhattan and use the Tilt Bar to changer your angel of view in order to see the buildings which appear flattened. Change your view perspective to get a better angle on the area. Check the 3-D building box under LAYERS. Describe what happens. select a few buildings and click on them to see what comes up.
