(6) Describe the place theory and frequency theory of hearing.

(1) What is Broca's aphasia and what are its major symptoms?

(2) What is Wernicke's aphasia and what are its major symptoms?

(3) What is alexia? What is agraphia? Damage to what area of the brain seems to contribute to these disorders?

(4) What are the symptoms dyslexia? What are some of the proposed causes of dyslexia? Include in your answer the heritability of dyslexia as well as brain development in people with dyslexia.

(1) Find three topics in Ch 9 of the class textbook that you learned &/or found interesting. List, describe & discuss these concepts , what about them you found interesting or the parts that you learned, and how these topics may impact you personally. Make sure to include the page numbers in your textbook where you found the information.

(2) Which three concepts did you find most challenging. Discuss the parts you understand and indicate the questions you have about these topics. To help your classmates in attempting to answer your questions about each topic, include the page number/s in our class textbook where they can find this information.
