2): What are political parties? What role do political parties play in Canada? How has the Canadian party system evolved in Canada? Do political parties offer distinct policy choices? Why have some Canadian political parties enjoyed more electoral success than others?

3): What is the Charter of Rights and Freedoms? What are the various categories of rights that are outlined in the Charter? What are the limitations of the Charter?Should the notwithstanding clause be removed from the Charter? What are the most important rights in the Charter from your perspective? Why are those rights so important to you?

4): What challenges do Indigenous communities face in Canada? How should such challenges be met? Should Canada move toward an equal partnership between sovereign Indigenous nations and the Canadian government? What would such partnerships entail?
