1) Write a formal APA (7th Edition) paper, double spaced 12-point Times New Roman Font with appropriate margins that is a minimum 4 pages, no more than 5 pages in length (not including title page and reference page). 

2) Discuss formal and informal leadership; include leadership traits, as well as similarities and differences between formal and informal leadership (introduction). 

3) Describe the crucial importance of each professional nurse having/bringing those skills to the workplace as entry to practice competencies. 

4) Describe your personal leadership skills and compare them to the CLPNA leadership competency profile. Discuss which are considered informal and/or formal. 

5) Explore where your skills need further development and create a plan for enhancement. 

6) Describe how continued development of your leadership skills is essential to a positive practice environment (conclusion).
