1. Yates & de Oliveira (2016) provide us with a nuanced view of decision-making and facets of those processes that may be impacted by regional or national culture. This has value for us in that we live and work in potentially profoundly diverse areas (on a number of dimensions), and that we often provide services or interact with similarly diverse constituents. Additionally, concepts of culture are found at other levels of analysis (organizational, subunit, and occupational), and cultural clashes there can impact decision-making.
