1- You have just started a teaching position in Brazil and you are about to develop a lesson plan for the class you teach next week. Getting started on the lesson after a brief introduction, you go through each activity with her students, but you notice that they aren't interested in discussing any of the material. After you slowly complete the lesson, you still have 30 minutes to spare. Thinking of what to do on the spot can sometimes be difficult. Which of the following choices would be the best use of the remaining time?

a.End the class early as the students are uninterested in today's lesson and they probably have more important work to do anyway.

b.Re-teach a previous lesson that connects to the material you have just taught to reinforce the concepts.

c.Ask the students what homework they were given in the previous class. If it is a topic you are familiar with, take up the homework with your students. Be sure to let your colleague know you did this.

d.Play a game with the students to fill the remaining time and encourage active discussion and participation.
