10. A teacher's perpetual 2 - 5 minute tardiness to school left the principal feeling as though her authority was being undermined. Although she spoke to the teacher frequently, the teacher always responded that the principal should lighten up as she was not missing any class time. The first 20 minutes of school was just recess duty, and she did not have recess duty. By February the principal was fed up with her tardiness, so she greeted her at her classroom door and told her not to return. She pushed back stating she had yet to receive any formal letter of reprimand.
