11. The English law applicable in Sarawakby virtue of Section 3 of the Civil Law Act 1956 and/or adopted by our Malaysian legal system Sarawak is commonly known as:-

i.the English Common law as administered in England on the 12^thday of December, 1949.

ii.the rules of equity as administered in England on the 12^th day of December, 1949.

iii. Statutes of general application as administered and in force in England on the 12^thday of December, 1949.

iv. Unwritten law of general application as administered in England on the 12^thday of December, 1949.
