(11) Write a report or memorandum that describes the derivation of each new variable, provides frequencies and/or descriptive statistics for each, and presents information on the reliability of the three scale scores. As the 10 right-wrong recoded food pair variables, and the four reversecoded Likert-type variables, are not of primary interest themselves, there is no need to tabulate frequencies and/or descriptive statistics for them. Rather, the text of the report should describe how and why you created them en route to creating the three scale scores. One table could present the mean, standard deviation, and Cronbach's alpha for each of the scale scores. Another could present counts and percentages for the ordinal and dichotomous LDL variables and for the five-category race/ethnicity variable. The text and tables should work together to explain the derivation of these variables
