The deal usually entails the Shark becoming a part owner in the company in exchange for funding, connections, and mentorship for the entrepreneur. The reality show is wrapping up its 12th season. That's 285 episodes, 895 pitches, 499 deals, $143.8 million worth of invested capital, and nearly $1 billion in company valuations.
