12:37 Wed 16 Mar course.work course.work a My Account Student @ 160/0 Log Out Shark Tank is a reality TV show where entrepreneurs from all over the US pitch their ideas to individuals ("Sharks") who are very successful in the world of business, hoping that at least one of the Sharks will make them a deal. The deal usually entails the Shark becoming a part owner in the company in exchange for funding, connections, and mentorship for the entrepreneur. The reality show is wrapping up its 12th season. That's 285 episodes, 895 pitches, 499 deals, $143.8 million worth of invested capital, and nearly $1 billion in company valuations.
