1a. Independent samples t-test

Dr. Holland would like to assess the impact of drinking Red Bull on attention levels. A sample of 30 participants is obtained. Half (n = 15) are given Red Bull while the other half (n = 15) are given a glass of water. Each group of participants is eventually tested on a complex puzzle and the number of minutes it takes them to solve the puzzle is recorded. Below is the data obtained:
