1a - Introducing emotional intelligence Last week Carol approached you about leading an innovation team to implement projects in the service that would help Little Catalysts ELC achieve an excellent rating. As a team leader, the expectations are that you would role model and support the development of emotional intelligence, demonstrate and develop your own effective team leadership skills and promote an innovative workplace culture. Carol has promised to mentor and guide you in developing as a leader within the service. She's admired the work that you've put in all year and really wants you to stretch further. A high priority for the next two months, is to provide professional development in emotional intelligence to all staff, as soft-skills will give the service a strong foundation from which to build innovative projects on. Carol has asked you to create some session plans to train staff on emotional intelligence.
