1a Mixtures simple Mixtures Jery tew substances occur in nature in pure form but are lound instead to be in mbdures containing muttiple components. A mixture is a combination of two or nore substances each retaining their individual chemical and physical properties Moxtures can be homogeneous or heterogeneous. A homogeneous mixture has spatially uniform composition and properties and are also colled sotutions, whereas a heterogeneous mixture has components spatilly sagregated so that the composition and propertes vary throughout the misture. If two substances can be combined all proportions to form a homogeneous moture, they are said to be miscible. The term is most commonly applied to liquids ( g. Water and ethanol), but it can also be applied to gasses ( g.9. oxygen and nitrogen). and solids (e.9, copper and znc to make brass). Saltwater (liquid phase solution), ciean air (gas phise solution), and alloys (sold phase folution) are addivonal common examples of homogeneous moxtures. Dirt and chocolate chip cookies ate common examples of heterogeneous mixturas Question 3.2.1 In the mbture you will prepare in this experiment, which component Question 3.2.3 Select the best of the provided responses for each of the following statements or questions
