The federal court system is made up of three courts. The district courts, circuit courts then the Supreme Court. The district courts are made up as the trial courts, the circuit courts are about appeals. Then the supreme court is the last part of the appeals.

2.In re subject-matter jurisdiction, explain federal question and diversity jurisdiction.

Federal question is that when a case happens to involve the US Constitution it automatically falls into federal jurisdiction.This includes all civil actions such as, treaties and laws of the US.

Diversity Jurisdiction is a subject-matter in which a federal district court has jurisdiction to hear a case if it reaches over $75,000.

3.A truck driver from TN and a bus driver from NC were involved in a collision in NC that injured the truck driver. The truck driver wants to file a claim seeking $85,000 in damages from the bus driver.

The issue is a truck driver from Tennessee was injured in an motor vehicle accident caused by the bus driver from North Carolina.

The rule states that since this is a diversity jurisdiction case and that the amount in this case is over $75,000 a federal district court has jurisdiction for this case.

4.Chase (from Alabama) is a sale's representative for a textbook company, Elgar Publications. Chase's job requires him to travel from school to school to show new casebooks to acquisition librarians. His assignment for the first week of January was to visit law schools in Alabama, North Carolina, Georgia, and Florida. While in Florida, Chase goes to South Beach to have some fun.
