1.If I was a manager and my employees were resisting change because of well-founded job loss fears I would try my best to comfort them. I would also make sure they knew that they still had to do their job. I would stay firm and make sure work gets done. If the company is planning on firing someone then they would look at progress reports. If the employees stop doing their work resisting change then that would increase their chances of being let go.

2.If I were in the manager's shoes when it comes to a situation like this, I would give the employees subtle comments as what they need to do better if they want to keep their job. They are losing their job because of how they are acting or performing, with that being said I would maybe host one on one meetings with those who need to make adjustments. I would like them to stay if I know they can participate and do well. I would feel the need to give them a chance before I cut them off from their job, however it would also come do to the situation because in some circumstances I would not allow they chance.
