1.Is there one or more regions that hold disproportion electoral power as measured by electoral college votes per million voters? If so, which regions are critically different? Is the pundit correct? To answer this question, first conduct a formal hypothesis test using ANOVE, showing all five steps. Then, if necessary, conduct the appropriate test to see whether any regions are critically different.Note: you will probably need to re-arrange the data to make calculations easier in Excel.
2.The right to vote is among the founding principles of the United States. In June 2020, the Big Ten--a conference of 14 prominent research universities of which UMD is a memberannounced the ALL IN Challenge, to increase voter turnout among campus communities. While the initiative had a local focus, it makes me wonder whether states with Big Ten schools have higher or lower voter turnout than other states on average. Conduct a formal hypothesis test, showing all five steps, to answer this question.
