1.Jennifer owns a dance studio and her classes are full. One evening, the sound system breaks down and she contracts Sound City to repair it. The repairer tells her that the system has to be taken to the workshop for repair and that it will be returned within 48 hours. Although Jennifer expects to lose business for the next two days, the system is not returned for ten days, due to carelessness on the part of Sound City. Despite her best efforts, she is unable to borrow or rent a replacement sound system.Jennifer wants to sue Sound City for damages for lost profits for the classes she has to cancel over the ten days. In addition, Jennifer has arranged for a new American hip hop group to perform live at the hall on one those evenings and she expected to earn an additional $5,000 from the sale of the tickets.
