The beginning balance for allowance for uncollectible accounts is $220 (credit). 2. February 1, 2008 Wrote off $60 of accounts receivable that were deemed uncollectible. 3. August 1, 2008 Provided $6,540 of services on account. 4. September 1,2008 Collected $5,400 cash from accounts receivable. 5. December 31, 2008 Bad debt expense is estimated by the balance sheet method.
