1.Salmah is an entrepreneur with a successful business selling homemade pineapple tarts which are very popular among biscuits lovers. In January 2019, Salmah placed an advertisement on a friend's blog stating that she is willing to supply the pineapple tarts at RM 36.00 per box of 30 pieces but would consider giving a discount for large orders. A week later Salmah received a letter from Warm Greetings Sdn. Bhd, a company specializing in corporate gifts asking a quotation for the supply of 50 boxes of pineapple tarts. Salmah replied saying that she is willing to sell the 50 boxes at RM 1620. Warm Greetings responded to Salmah's letter saying that they are only willing to pay not more than RM1500 for the order. Upon receiving the reply, Salmah wrote back saying that she is now selling at RM1800 which is the actual price for 50 boxes. Salmah's letter was received by the new purchasing manager of Warm Greetings who was not aware of the previous correspondence between the two parties. Believing that RM1800 is a reasonable price for such delicious tarts, he placed an order for 50 boxes from Salmah. One week later the 50 boxes of pineapple tarts were delivered to Warm Greetings office together with an invoice for RM1800. However Warm Greetings refused to pay the RM 1800 due and insisted that they will only pay RM1620 as offered by Salmah originally. Advise Salmah of her rights under Law of Contract.
