Assignment:

  1. Calculate the allowable delinquent record number - obtain the average monthly discharges for the year (add up and divide by 12). Based on the JC standard of 50% of average monthly discharges, compare this figure with each month's delinquency figure given in the table to determine which are out of compliance? Do not calculate month to month - you must calculate the average monthly discharges (X50%) and compare that figure to each month to determine which months are out of compliance. Show all your calculations in table format.
  2. Calculate the allowable number of delinquent operative reports and H&Ps based on the requirement of 98% completion. As in #2, use average monthly discharges for H&P calculation keeping in mind that your threshold for acceptance is only 2%. For the operative report calculations, use average monthly operations. Compare the H&P acceptable amount with the H&P column and the operative reports to the operative report column to determine which are out of compliance. Show all your calculations in table format.
