2-Michael has a living will that states he would not want to live for more than 6 weeks on life support. After suffering major head trauma in a car accident, Michael is kept alive on a ventilator for a little over two weeks. Michael's doctors and lawyers are aware of the living will and family members have been informed. Michael's wife understands the terms, but his son has begged the nursing staff to give his dad more time.
