2. Anxiety of statistics modules is a known problem in higher education. A researcher conducted an experiment on a newly developed intervention to lower anxiety level among students. Eleven (11) participants were selected for each of the treatment and control groups. Anxiety levels were tested to investigate if there is a difference between the two groups. The results are presented in a table below:

a. Test the hypothesis (at significant level of 0.05) to see if there is a difference between the two groups with regard to statistics anxiety levels. Show all your calculations and hypothesis testing steps. (16 marks).

b. Calculate and interpret the effect size using the Cohens' d. (4 marks).
