2. Awah had purchased a building with her hard earned money in June 2002. Sercial building was purchased for GBP 100000 in June 2002 and was used for commercial purpose. The need for the hour made Afrah extend the building in June 2004, such involved a cost of GBP 10000. The said building was sold on the 1st July 2021 at a price of GBP 650300. Afrah loves art and for such love she had purchased a painting costing GBP 35000 in April 2004. The seller paid the incidental fees of 1%. She disposed the same painting on 1st September 2021 for a price of GBP 20000. She also paid incidental fees of 196 on the same. Afrah has not been serious about her purchases and sales and hence has a loss of GBP 15600 from the previous years. She has sold her car in Dec 2021 and earned a net gain of GBP 500. She invested in a company loan stock with GBP 5000 in August 2016 and sold the same for GBP 9000 in November 2021 and incurred legal fees of GBP 100. She has been working as a manager in a firm and earns to the tune of GBP 40000 per annum
