A 200-pound male has 12 standard drinks in 10 hours. Note: Because all of our bodies process alcohol at about the same rate, we can use constants to get an approximate BAC. Generally, a drinker's BAC will decrease about .016 every hour using proper recording methods. Hints: 1 hour = 60 minutes, 1 minute = 1/60 hours BAC = BAC reading after one hour - [(hours of drinking episode - 1) x .016] The following tables show BAC readings after one hour of drinking. Women will have higher BACs than Men, if they have the same number of standard drinks. Smaller persons will have higher BACs than bigger persons, if they have the same number of standard drinks. 2.
