Start with one Y variable and look at how it gets affected by one X variable. Then add a control variable and see what happens.

Be sure to include:

a). Your Ho: and Ha:

b). R squared and its interpretation

c). The equation of the prediction line + an explanation of the slope

d). A test of the hypothesis at the 95% confidence level + an interpretation of the p-value

e). An explanation of the 95% confidence interval around your X variable.

f). Add a 2^nd variable (control variable) and repeat the above analysis

g). Did the control variable(s)(more than one if you'd prefer) change your results much?

h). What other control variables might you be curious to try if you had them?
