2) People's lives vary tremendously, and people make sense of their lives in a tremendous variety of ways. Social scientists who perform narrative research collect as many different life stories as they can from people in order to understand how people make sense of their own lives. Ramakrishnan, Rodriguez and Hakim (2018) examined the critical events of college professors. A "turning point" is a critical event where a person undergoes substantial change. The number of life turning points for professors from different academic disciplines was recorded and is presented below. Use an ANOVA with a = .05 to determine whether there are significant differences in the number of turning points in the lives of college professors from different academic disciplines. Table 1.
