This promotion will mean an increase in salary and it will allow you to keep your health benefits, which is important to you because your daughter is very sick with a chronic disease. Losing health benefits will result in financial ruin. While working for the new division for ten months, the third-in-line for the top management position comes up to you and asks you to write disparaging letters about the director and deputy director of that division.
