SAM: This will not make sea levels rise. We saw in class that a glass of ice water filled to the brim will not overflow when the ice melts. PAT: I think it will make sea levels rise. It's not the same as the glass of ice water because seawater has a higher density. KIM: I think it might make sea levels rise. If the melting ice is already floating, it won't rise the sea level much. But if the melting ice is on land, and the meltwater enters the ocean, it will raise the sea level.
