2. The defendant, Stella advertised in a newspaper advert stating that she was selling shares of her company on the stock market for 51 por share. Many people saw the advert and about 20 people bought the shares because it was cheap. Stolla was then charged by the RCMP police the Claimant with unlawfully offering and selling shares on the stock market without a licence Stolla did not know you need a licence to sell stocks. She is arguing that the advort was NOT an offer but merely an invitation to treat Advise Stella on her chances in court
