2. With laws changing in regard to recreational and medicinal use of marijuana and continuing concerns about alcohol, a study was undertaken to examine the effects of marijuana and alcohol (separately) on driving reaction time. An investigator for a legislative committee designed the following study*. Thirty participants were randomized into 3 groups: 1) alcohol, 2) marijuana or 3) nothing (placebo). So that the participants would not be biased by knowing which group they were in, each was given a drink (containing alcohol or nothing) and a brownie (containing marijuana or nothing). No participant received both alcohol and marijuana. The thirty participants' average reaction times (in seconds) to a series of simulated driving situations were recorded. The worksheet 'MAS' has 30 observations and the following variables ID: Subject identication number reaction: Reaction time (seconds) MAS: Mind altering substance 1= alcohol, 2=marijuana, 3=p|acebo sex: 0=fema|e, 1=male a. There are a number of possible research questions. State one such question. b. What are the independent and dependent variables and the level of measurement for each? c. Describe your data in a table using the appropriate measure of central tendency and dispersion to compare the 3 groups
