(3 marks) The monthly sales of an item are 800 units. The selling price is R3 per unit and the items are sold at cost plus 50%. The ordering cost amounts to R25 per order and the holding cost is equal to 20% of the unit cost of the item. 2.1.2 Value of closing inventory as at 31 May 2021 using the weighted average cost method. (Round off the weighted average cost per unit to the nearest cent.) (4 marks) 2.3 (5 marks) Use the information provided below to calculate the cost (as a percentage; expressed to two decimal places) to Ethekwini Traders of not accepting the discount. 2.1.3 (3 marks) Net value of issues to the production department for May 2021 using the last-in-first-out (LIFO) method.
