Page 3 Ramon has entered into a contract to have an air conditioning system installed into his house by Coolflo Lid, at a cost of $25,000.00. He pays $10,000.00 and the work commerces. Consider the rights and liabilities of Ramon and Coolflo Led, in relation to this contract if the following, alternative, events occur when the work is two thirds complete: a Ramon's house accidentally catches fire, and is totally destroyed; or b) The Government announces that, because of a scare about legionnaires disease, air conditioning systems of the kind that Ramon is having installed will become illegal with immediate effect; or C) The employee, Norman, who was the only person in Coolflo Led with the expertise to install this type of air conditioning system has been convicted of a crime and is in prison for 10 months
