When the balls land on the ground, they will strike a piece of carbon paper that is laying on top of a piece of graph paper. Students will use the final locations of the balls to determine whether momentum was conserved in the x direction and the y direction. For bonus points, students can evaluate whether the collision was elastic or not. 1) The balls will travel at different angles, with different velocity vectors, and eventually land in different places.
