3. A bunji jumper is standing on a platform attached to a suspension bridge above a river gorge in the foothills of the Southern Alps in New Zealand (sounds crazy but people do it). The maximum extended length of the bunji cord is 92.6 m. As he is thinking about jumping, his heavy car keys fall through a hole in his pants pocket, run down his leg, fall out and 4.96 seconds later they hit the water below. He does some quick calculations to decide whether or not he should jump. What do you think his decision was? Why?

4. What is the maximum extended length of the bunji cord that could be used by the jumper in question # 3? Assume that the distance from the top of his head to the position of the cord on his ankles is 1.69 m. Also, assume that the jumper wants to experience the thrill of his life but he doesn't want to get wet.
