$3.$A system for the design of an activated carbon adsorption system with a dual bed is underway for the treatment of $300$ m$3/$min of air containing $600$ ppmv of hexane. Laboratory studies have indicated that the employed activated carbon can adsorb $9$ kg of hexane per $100$ kg of carbon under operational conditions. If the system operates at $30\backslash$deg C and $1\mathrm{.}0$ atm with a removal efficiency of $99\%,$ approximately calculate the dimensions of each carbon bed. Both the regeneration and operation of the bed last for one hour.
