3) From Nissan's first press conference and other data, it can be concluded that many people inside and outside Nissan coordinated carefully to defenestrate Carlos Ghosn in as dramatic a fashion as possible. Why were these people so hostile toward a man who saved the company from bankruptcy by doing things that the Japanese themselves admitted needed to be done by a foreigner when they couldn't do it themselves?

In nearly every case listed no perpetrators were arrested or charged, and in the few exceptions no one was jailed, and the even fewer found guilty were without exception given very lenient and/or suspended sentences. Why was Carlos Ghosn treated so radically differently?
