Scenario 3. A researcher wants to examine the effects of a rape awareness worshop on the anxiety level of a group of college women. The researcher plans to assign a group of 50 women to the rape awareness group and 50 to a control group that receives a workshop on a non-related topic. Anxiety levels of the two groups of women will be measured 3 times -- one week before the workshop, immediately after the workshop, and 30 days after the workshop. All women must be at least 18 years of age to enroll in the study.
