3.B. THE EXTERNAL ENVIRONMENT The second part of the audit should examine the external environment in terms of legal, ethical, and global challenges, as far as these are related to the natural environment, societal environment and task environment within the company's area of operation. Review your own Blackboard postings presented and discussed with your peers during weeks 2, 3. 5. then rewrite your postings for law. ethics and globalization, but in an academic format. As an academic story, your text should include references from published works which will be presented in the form of summaries and quotations. Contextualize each text you wrote by adding an introductory paragraph to each section related to law, ethics and globalization, and by following the guiding principles of introducing, reinforcing, and emphasizing. To ensure comprehensiveness of the field itself, simply review the table of contents of college textbooks in the areas of business law, business ethics, and globalization and zoom into relevant areas as needed. You can access such textbooks either in your personal library of textbooks you purchased for your MBA program at Fitchburg State University. or you can find relevant textbooks listed on amazon.com, Google Books, Pearson, and other vendors Barnes & Noble, etc. Please make sure that for each section (law, ethics, globalization), you will first write an introductory paragraph in which you create the context for your case. You do so by moving from the general argument to the particular; that is by creating a broad map of the field itself, and then by locating your case on this map. (For example, let's assume that you write a story about Nick who lives at 21 Main Street, who composed a new song. Because there might be thousands of addresses listed as 21 Main Street, you need to map it by moving from general to particular. For Instance, you can write your story by saying something like: "Somewhere in the United States of America, In the State of Rhode Island, there is a town called Belmont. In this town, at 21 Main Street, lives Nick; the young musician who fascinated the world with his talent," -. and then you continue with Nick's story.) 3.B.1. LEGAL CONSTRAINTS (approx. 500 words) 3.B.2. ETHICAL DILEMMAS (approx. 500 words) 3.B.3. GLOBAL CHALLENGES (approx. 500 words)
