An important part of being innovative is being open to change. People who are open to change are flexible when confronted with changes, see change as an exciting challenge, and are willing to apply new ideas, processes, and directives. This activity is important because managers need to understand the things that encourage and inhibit this openness if they are to successfully model openness to change.
The goal of this activity is to challenge your knowledge of self-affirming responses that enhance and inhibit openness to change.
