Regarding credit sales, 10% are collected in the month of the sale and 90% in the following month. The ending finished goods inventory equals 30% of the following month's sales. The ending raw materials inventory equals 40% of the following month's raw materials production needs. Each unit of finished goods requires 12 grams of raw materials. The raw materials cost $0.16 per gram. Regarding raw materials purchases, 10% are paid for in the month of purchase and 90% in the following month. The direct labor wage rate is $15.00 per hour. Each unit of finished goods requires 0.2 direct labor-hours. Variable overhead is $2.50 per direct labor-hour. Assume there is no Fixed OH. The variable selling, general, and administrative expense per unit sold is $1.05. The fixed selling, general and administrative expense per month is $56,420. a.
