4. The youth hockey board in Big Fork, Minnesota is putting together the hockey budget for next year. The hockey season lasts 16 weeks. Each team gets two 1.25 hour full-ice practices and one 1.25 hour home game each week. There is also one away game each week, but it is customary for the home team to pay for the ice time. All practices and games are held at in the Big Fork Municipal Rink, which charges $170 per hour for ice time. Players are in 4 levels: Mite (7 8 years old) Squirt (9 10 years old), PeeWee (11 12 years old) and Bantam (13 14 years old). Teams consist of no fewer than 11, nor more than 21 players. Due to a large number of younger players, the number of players at the Mite level is expected to be the same next year. Last year's player numbers follow. Assume a 50/50 age split in each level. Mite: 70 Squirt: 60 PeeWee: 48 Bantam: 40 Other levels will experience some drop in numbers to children leaving to play soccer and other activities. This retention rate is expected to be 90.0%. Find the cost budget for the year, and nd the amount each child must pay (for the season)
