Many students benefit from reorganizing their notes into a concept map. Your brain's neural networks grow stronger when you experience course information in different ways. Creating a concept map helps visual learners to better see how course concepts are related. Practice the skill of reorganizing notes from a class into a concept map.

Read the following notes, and then select the phrases that create the best concept map.

Many people have heard of paralegals, but not many know what they do.

Paralegals can:

1.Research factual legal issues

2.Interview clients and witnesses

3.Prepare and draft legal documents

4.Gather facts and information related to contracts and lawsuits

5.Maintain legal files and assist attorneys in trial preparation

Paralegals cannot:

1.Give legal advice

2.Sign legal documents

3.Represent clients in court

4.Set legal fees

Paralegals can also perform a variety of functions for government agencies and real estate firms. Paralegals sometimes perform valuable legal research for nonprofits.
