OVERVIEWRUBRICCOMPLETIONFEEDBACK
The goal of the project is to familiarize the student with the process of (a) collecting and (b) organizing both quantitative and qualitative data by means of visually relevant graphic statistical tools (tables, graphs, charts, etc.) (c) creating a professional statistics-based presentation, and (d) delivering a professional level presentation.
The study is designed to enable the students to (1) better understand a topic of their choice, and (2) expand their understanding of the relevance of statistical studies in the analysis of topics of interest or in industries.
The methodology and tools acquired while completing this project could then be used to replicate similar studies using different topics and industries.
Introduction:
For the final project, you will collect, organize, analyze, interpret, and present data of your choice. We suggest that you look for topics that are relevant to your plan of study, the industry you would like to join once you graduate, or any other appropriate interest.
You will create a professional level presentation and present the results of your investigation and explain their relevance to the industry or you (or both).
