5 . 3 Draw a flow chart of the scaled - up process and show the flowrates of ethanol and water in the feed, distillate

5.3Draw a flow chart of the scaled-up process and show the flowrates of ethanol and water in the feed, distillate and reject streams.
6. Its required to concentrate black liquor in vertical long tube evaporator. The liquor is fed to the evaporator at 10kgs. The feed liquor contains 25% solids. From the evaporation unit, two streams emerge. In the first stream the liquor is found to contains 42% solids (concentrate). Te second stream is pure vapor (Water)
6.1 Draw and completely label the process
6.2. Write all the applicable equations and determine the mass flow of black liquor and vapor (water) from the bottom and top streams
7. One hundred molh of butane (C4H10) and 5000molh of air are fed to a combustion reactor. Calculate the percent excess air.
8. Ethane is burned with 50% excess air. The percentage conversion of the ethane is 90%; of the ethane burned, 25% reacts to form CO and the balance reacts to form CO2. Calculate the molar composition of the stack gas on a dry basis and the mole ratio of water to dry stack gas.
9. You are requested as a process engineer to perform the analysis on both dry and wet basis of the product stream generated from the combustion unit of your plant. Butane (C4H10) is burnt in the combustion chamber at a rate of 250 mole ?hr with 150% excess air. 80mol% of the feed goes to complete combustion while 15mol % goes to incomplete combustion and the balance remains unburnt.
9.1 Draw and completely label the process flow diagram.
9.2 Calculate the mass flow rate of the air stream entering the combustion chamber.
9.3 Perform the analysis of the flue gas on both dry and wet basis.
10. Write the balanced equations of the complete and incomplete combustion reactions of the following compounds.
10.1CF4
10.2,C3H8
