5 friends get together and find out that they would all love to launch a brand of hats, called HATS4US. One of them, Olivia, has been studying fash. design for some years and has a thing for hats, so it seems like a good match. Cynzia doesn't have any formal studies, but a lot of experience as tailor. Mar is already a marketing expert, and Ruth is about to finish computer science, making her ideal to design the website. Finally, Noe has jt finished her Business Administration degree and wants to handle both the company and the physical shop. They have set the objective of opening a shop, both physical and online, in 3 months from now, with 5 hat models that have shown some mark acceptance, with some stock ready for each of them. A marketing campaign must also be done before opening so that customers are already thei from day 1 . Their company must be legally set up, the physical shop must be rented and prepared, and shipments for online sales must be set o with a carrier. And many other things you might think of. SCOPE: - Create a new project using any Project Management tool called HATS4US. - Create a plan that covers everything needed to open shop. Some minimums: - 25 tasks or more, grouped into different sections. - 5 or more of these tasks need to be broken down into subtasks. - 2 or more milestones defined. - Create a virtual user for each team member (Olivia, Cynzia, Mar, Ruth and Noe) and assign them the tasks. - Add estimations for all tasks in hours (EH). - Create a Gantt chart of the projoct, taking into account: - Each momber can only work 8 per working day. - Each task must have a dependency to start defined. Make sure that: - Tasts are assigned to the most fitting team member. - Tasks are clearly defined, and their dependencies, make sense. - Time estimations are sensible, and huge tasks are broken down into subtasks. - Add descriptions for tasks that cannot be understood only with a title. Make sure it includes assignee information, workioad view, collapsed/hidden tasks, descriptions, due dates, estimated hours, and assignee.
