This person should hold a Special Education endorsement and play an integral role in providing special education services to students in a school. What role does the classroom teacher (sometimes called the general education teacher) play, through planning, instruction, and assessment, in providing special education services? What are the resources available to teachers when working with students receiving special education services? As a future teacher, what have you learned about your role in working with students receiving special education services?
