5 of 6 Exercise 4: [12 marks] -+ Automatic Zoom Use the data provided to perform an independent samples t test (Welch's) in Excel or R. All students must use, use either "Lab5_E4.xlsx" or "Lab5 E4.txt" to complete this exercise Data description: This data, from a small plot study, measures potato yields (unit - hundredweight per acre) in an irrigated field near Portage la Prairie based on two different irrigation regimes (calendar irrigation vs. dynamic irrigation). Each 5 m plot was randomly assigned to receive one irrigation type, for a total of 20 plots. A minimum 5 m buffer was maintained between each plot to ensure independence. Calendar irrigation provides consistent watering rates throughout the growing season but may lead to occasional excess field moisture due to natural precipitation events. Dynamic irrigation uses remote sensing to adjust irrigation rates depending on plant growth stage and current soil moisture, measured at 30 cm depth to maintain consistent target soil water content. ***CAUTION*** There is an outlier present in this dataset, to achieve full marks it must be dealt with appropriately. In your assignment submission, you must provide the following information in a clear and organized manner 1. Your null and alternate hypothesis stated in the context of the study (two-sided) 2. The mean, standard deviation, and sample size of the sample data 3. A boxplot of the sample data 4. A normal Q-Q plot of the sample data 5 Show At
