5. Redox titration: The calcium salt of oxalic acid [Ca(O2CCO2)] is found in the sap and leaves of some vegetables, including rhubarb. Because oxalic acid and its salts are toxic, when a food such as rhubarb is processed commercially, the leaves must be removed, and the oxalate content is carefully monitored. When 25.0mL of 0.10mol/L calcium oxalate was placed in a litration flask, 0.038mol/L potassiun mangaaate(VII) solution was run from a burette into the titration flask. Given: C2O42(aq)2CO2(g)+2eMnO4(aq)+8H3O+(aq)+5e+Mn2+(aq)+4H2O(I) (i) Write down the overall equation for the redox reaction. (ii) Calculate the volume of the manganate(VII) solution needed to reach the end point of the titration. (iii) Determine the %(w/w) calcium oxalate in a 15.0g rhubarb sample which required the same amount of manganate(VII) solution as in ii) to reach the titration end point. Given the molar mass of the calcium salt is 128.1g/mol
